Orientation!!!

Just ended my orientaion in SAJC yesterday.The orientation was FUN!!!Well the people there are also quite fun.They are very enthusiastic and somewhat crazy(In a good way of course).My group was also great.Most people were very enthusiastic and friendly.Well the on the 1st day of school,we were splitted into our groups and I was in group 7.There were a total of 32 groups.7 groups from the Arts faculty,group 1 to group 7.There were 25 groups from the Science faculty,group 8 to group 32.My group had 10 guys and 20 girls.Guys were all outnumbered.Haha.1st activity was to watch a video of what orientation is like.It looks fun in the video.Then,each group moved out of the cultural centre to a big open space where groups would sit in a circle to play ice breaking games.Got to know some people in the group after ice-breaker.Then we proceeded to the Cultural centre for an address by the principal followed by subject talks.It was so boring that I fell asleep.=X I did listen to a little of the talk though,and it sounded like the subjects in JC were very difficult.Scary.Well after that we went to classroom to get a form for us to choose our subject combination.The teacher gave us a short briefing and we went for our lunch.1st day of school my hair was already caught by the OM.Damn him man.He asked me to dye my hair black and cut my hair by the next day.As if I will listen to him.LOL.After lunch my kingdom had a gathering.My kingdom name is called 'Saverdo'.It represents green.We practiced some cheers and soon after,everybody got their enthusiastic mood up.Everyone was screaming while cheering.Next,we went to play games.Played a few games like cherade(Don't know if I spell it correctly),fruity monster where we have to pass fruits using a bowl on our head and some other games which I couldn't really recall.After games was mass dance where guys have to dance with girls.The mass dance was quite alright but it was tiring and the hall was flaming hot.That's all for the 1st day of orientation.

2nd day of orientation began with a gathering with our kingdoms to practice cheer again.I was "Sabo-ed" to be the group rep. and "sabo-ed" for some competetion between each groups.Wouldn't go into too much details as it is embarassing.=) After gathering went to cultural centre for a perfomance by the councillors and headed on to the hall for mass games.We played a game of guessing school places by a small pictures as a clue.The person who can guess correctly would get a chocolate.Sometimes,when more than one person goes up,they have to compete and the winner would get to answer.At first,it was scissors paper stone.Then it moved on to "hai Dai".It got worse and it moved on to a dance of "Sexy Back".Then I was forced to go up to answer.Got "Sabo-ed" again.So unlucky that 2 other girls went up at the same time.So we had to do the chicken dance on stage.So embarassing.Haha.In the end I also never got to answer."Sway" man.After that was the boring part where my group,7 and group 6 had to do the mascot for the finale night.We sat down to discuss but only a few contributed.The rest of us were slacking including me.=) Then followed by lunch where Abel and me had to run away from the OM to avoid getting caught for our hair.Then we went to the hall for the mass dance.They had the music of Jeff and Joan dance during Bvss Grad night but the dance steps were different.Abel me and other Catholic High friends skipped the mass dance as it was boring.Then we had stage games in the cultural centre playing the game of the price is right.The last winner of the game won many many prizes.Another boring part followed after stage games.We had to learn the school song and school cheer.I spent my time playing handphone games instead and spent my time slacking.Moving to the fun part now where we played many games.We played games involving water bombs,dunking(where many people got wet),throwing disgusting stuff like squid(Where my hands got dirty) and dog and bone...with a twist!It was fun and tiring.That was day 2.

I'm tired now so I will continue day 3 tomorrow.=)
